Welcome to The Glasshouse at River Oaks!

We’re so excited to have toured with you! Below are a few of the most important things to know as you make your wedding venue decision. Our goal is to keep everything clear, transparent, and easy as you plan your day.

  • Your Venue Rental Includes

    • Exclusive access to The Glasshouse at River Oaks from 8:00 AM to 11:00 PM for one day events.

    • Ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception spaces.

    • Tables and chairs for up to 350 guests. See inventory here.

    • Bridal Suites and Grooms Den.

    • Indoor and outdoor restrooms.

    • Catering prep kitchens.

    • Standard post-event cleaning.

    • Venue team members onsite throughout your event for assistance and golf cart transportation for photos if requested.

    • Standard setup of tables and chairs detailed below:


      - Ceremony: The Promenade with white garden chairs (they will be set out during Spring, Summer and Fall. If you’d like to have them removed, see extra labor fees list below)

    - Cocktail Hour - The Ballroom/Deck or The Glasshouse


    - Reception - The Glasshouse with wood Bentwood chairs

    - Back up ceremony location due to weather: The Ballroom or The Glasshouse as Oscar Style seating. (Please note if you choose The Ballroom as your ceremony location it will not be flipped into cocktail hour and the ceremony chairs will remain setup in The Ballroom for the entirety of Cocktail Hour). Glasshouse flip can be provided with additional labor fees detailed below.

  • Wedding Planner Requirement

    • A professional wedding planner or day-of coordinator is required for every wedding since we have so many spaces and opportunities for customization.

    • Your planner may not be a guest, family member, or member of the wedding party.

    • Here is a list of our preferred planners who know our venue well and consistently provide exceptional service. If you choose someone else, they must be approved before booking. 

  • Bar Service

    • We are the exclusive bar and beverage provider, so outside alcohol is not permitted.

    • Bar packages are shown on our website!

    • Coffee carts, matcha bars, bubble tea, and similar vendors may be allowed as a special add-on with prior approval, as long as one of our bar packages is also being served for guest beverages. These vendors are intended to enhance your event, not replace the venue’s beverage service.

    • Friday weddings have a $3,000 bar minimum and Saturday weddings have a $4,000 bar minimum.

    • Bar service and music conclude at 10:00 PM.

  • Vendors

    • You’re welcome to choose your own vendors for most services with no approval needed.

    • For catering and wedding planning, we use a curated list of preferred professionals who do stellar work, are familiar with our venue and meet our licensing, insurance, and service standards to ensure a smooth experience.

    • Caterers or planners outside our preferred list require approval before booking.

    • All caterers must provide full-service catering, insurance and 8 vendor meals for our venue team.

  • Access Hours

    • Access begins at 8am and ends at 11pm.

    • All guests, vendors, and personal belongings must be off the property by the end of your rental period.

  • Additional Fees to Be Aware Of

    • Partial room flip: $500

    • Full room flip: $1,000

    • White ceremony chair removal: $350

    • Lift rental: $300 (plus $50/hour if operated by our staff)

  • A Few Important Policies

    • No outside alcohol or coolers.

    • No fireworks, balloons, lanterns, confetti, glitter, rice, birdseed, or fog machines.

    • Specialty installations and hanging décor require prior approval.

    • Children must be supervised at all times.

    • Vehicles left overnight must be picked up the following morning.
