    • The Glasshouse: Can host up to 350 seated guests.

    • The Ballroom: Accommodates up to 160 seated guests, or 350 for standing celebrations.

    • The Lawn: Can hold up to 350 guests, offering a beautiful outdoor option for ceremonies.

  • You’ll have full access to the venue for a total of 15 hours on your event day, allowing plenty of time for setup, celebration, and cleanup. 8 am to 11 pm.

    To ensure a smooth relationship with our neighbors and a great departure for you, your guests, and vendors, music must conclude by 10:00 p.m.

  • If you were planning on having an outdoor ceremony, we’ve got you covered, rain or shine. In the event of inclement weather, the Ballroom is a perfect backup location for your indoor ceremony. With its elegant design, it offers a seamless transition from your outdoor ceremony to a beautiful, sheltered space.

Food and Beverage

  • At The Glasshouse at River Oaks, we offer an open catering policy, giving you the freedom to choose any caterer that aligns with your style and budget. Whether you have a favorite caterer in mind or want to explore new options, the choice is completely yours!

    However, all caterers must be approved by our team and must meet certain requirements, including being licensed and insured. We’ll need to have their documentation on file before the event, ensuring everything is in order for a smooth and seamless experience.

    If you'd like some recommendations, we’d be happy to share a list of trusted local caterers we’ve worked with in the past.

  • No, we don’t have a food or guest count minimum!


    Our goal is to offer you flexibility, allowing you to choose food options that are as elegant or affordable as your budget allows.

    However, please note that some caterers may set their own minimums for specific dates.

  • We’re currently in the process of obtaining our liquor license. Bar packages are coming soon!

    In the meantime, if you’d like to serve alcohol at your event, you’re welcome to work with a licensed alcohol provider.

    Please note that, in accordance with Missouri state law, no outside alcohol may be brought onto the property.

    This helps ensure that all alcohol service aligns with both local regulations and our venue’s policies—creating a safe, seamless, and enjoyable experience for you and your guests.

  • Yes, outside food and non-alcoholic drinks are allowed prior to the ceremony.

    However, once the event has started, outside food and drinks are not permitted.

    We kindly ask that no drinks in glass bottles are brought onto the property.

    This policy helps ensure the smooth flow of your event while keeping everything safe and organized.

  • To reserve your date at The Glasshouse at River Oaks simply email us at celebrate@theglasshouseatriveroaks.com with your preferred event date and a backup date in case your first choice is unavailable. We’ll provide a contract, and 50% of the rental fee is required to hold your date.

    Dates are reserved on a first-come, first-served basis, and we’ll be happy to guide you through the process!

  • Yes!! There are several convenient lodging options!

    On-site suites: For those opting for our 2-day experience package, we offer on-site accommodations that can host up to 14 people. This provides a convenient and comfortable option for your bridal party or close family members, allowing everyone to be part of the celebration from start to finish.​

    Local Airbnb’s: We have established partnerships with local hosts who offer accommodations just a short distance from our venue. These options range from cozy guest suites to spacious homes, providing a variety of choices to suit your guests' preferences. If you're interested, we can connect you with these trusted Airbnb hosts to ensure a comfortable stay for your attendees.​

  • Yes, we do require an event rider policy, as is standard with most venues.

    To make this process easier, we partner with Nuptial to help you obtain the necessary coverage. After you book, they will reach out to guide you through the process.

    If you're planning to have special effects like cold sparks, a higher umbrella policy will be required to ensure everything is safely covered.

  • We ask that all tours be scheduled by appointment to ensure we give you our full attention and provide the best experience possible. You can easily request a tour here.

  • Since we only host one event per day, our fee structure remains consistent regardless of whether you choose to have your ceremony, reception, or both here at our space.
